Alex has spent the last twenty years working with leaders across the globe to enhance their crisis management capabilities. She is a member of Insignia’s senior management team, leads several of our largest clients and regularly speaks about crisis management at conferences.

She has extensive experience of supporting organisations through all stages of their crisis management maturity, from audits, risk assessments and developing plans and processes through to exercising experienced leadership teams.  

Alex specialises in the development and delivery of our crisis management and crisis communication training and exercises. She has worked with C-suite and senior leadership teams across a diverse range of industries including technology, healthcare, finance, retail, media, infrastructure, travel, tourism, food and drink.

Her clients at Insignia include ABB Group, DP World and Stagecoach Group. She has delivered training and exercising in many locations around the world including Europe, the U.S., Chile, China and Dubai.

Prior to joining Insignia in 2013, Alex held senior roles in the communication industry including at the Department of Health and global communications consultancy, Porter Novelli.

By gaining a deep understanding of a client’s business and planning exercises tailored to their unique organisation and culture, Alex’s approach enables clients to develop a team’s capabilities when faced with the most challenging of circumstances, in a safe environment.

Outside of work, Alex puts her competitive streak to the test by hosting and taking part in quizzes and enjoys taking anyone on at Risk, the military strategy game.
